Alaska Legal Services Corporation (ALSC) is seeking quotes from qualified vendors interested in evaluating the effectiveness of its Legal Care for DV Survivors Project. In 2025, ALSC received a Pro Bono Innovation Fund (PBIF) grant from the Legal Services Corporation to offer a Community Justice Worker (CJW) Domestic Violence Protective Order (DVPO) Training Program at no cost to employees and volunteers of domestic violence and sexual assault organizations across Alaska. Participants who complete the training may apply for a waiver under Alaska Bar Rule 43.5, allowing approved CJWs to provide limited-scope legal services, including legal advice, form assistance, and representation in protective order hearings.
The selected vendor will evaluate project effectiveness, including program impact, client experience, advocate preparedness, and barriers to implementation, and will produce a final report with findings and recommendations.
- The budget for this evaluation and accompanying report is $15,000.
- The project will run from October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2027.
- Quotes should be submitted by email to cjwrc@alsc-law.org. ALSC will confirm receipt of each submission.
- A vendor will be selected by October 1, 2026.
