Your Donation Doubled
This GivingTuesday, we have our biggest goal yet: $40,000. To help us get there, Danielle Bailey and Jacob Coate & Lloyd Miller and Heather Kendall-Miller are generously supporting a $20,000 match. Every donation today, December 2nd, will be doubled up to $20,000, helping us reach $40,000 for civil legal aid for Alaskans.
A Powerful Example of Justice in Action
“Margaret” and her husband “John,” both seniors, endured physical and financial abuse from their daughter and son-in-law, who refused to leave their property. The situation escalated into a physical altercation, leaving John entangled in legal issues and jeopardizing their ability to remain in their home.
Feeling unsafe and with nowhere else to turn, Margaret sought help from ALSC.
An ALSC attorney acted swiftly, filing legal notices and representing Margaret in court. Margaret won the case, and with the help of law enforcement, her daughter and son-in-law were removed from the property. Today, Margaret and John are safe in their home, with the stability and peace of mind they deserve.
