Q1. Why did you choose to volunteer with ALSC?
I found my way through my Tribe who has a partnership with ALSC and these educational trainings with college credits and empowered me to re-engage in my education to help my Tribal communities.

Q2. What are some of your experiences with ALSC that have made a positive difference in the lives of others and/or the community?
It’s a beautiful system and this is an amazing organization and partnership that helps us get our Tribal families timely assistance and for a small investment in our time we are making a huge difference for families.

Q3. How do you think your experiences with ALSC will benefit the community in the future?
Right out of the gate there is an amazing structure with partnership and education to bring back immediate assistance for Elders and families in Alaskan tribes, this is a sovereignty game changer. It makes amazing leaders and confident leaders.

Q4. What do you do when you are not volunteering with ALSC?
I enjoy fishing, hiking, camping with my family and my Tribe has a great leader who is passionate and has confident employees who lead by doing amazing things. We give people the ability to learn how to navigate every aspect of life.
