Q1. Why did you choose to volunteer with ALSC?
I was an associate at Lane Powell who had a long legacy with ALSC. I don’t live in Alaska, so there’s only certain cases I can take.
Q2. What are some of your experiences with ALSC that have made a positive difference in the lives of others and/or the community?
Most recently the SNAP cases. Prior Pro Bono included a purchase agreement and Lawyer for the day. This is an opportunity to see practice I don’t normally see and to help people in the community who need it.
Q3. How do you think your experiences with ALSC will benefit the community in the future?
When there are situations where I can be helpful, it’s a perfect opportunity; clear missions and directions are a great way to make an impact.
Q4. What do you do when you are not volunteering with ALSC?
I’m on Vancouver Island raising two small boys, coaching soccer, trying to get through raising little ones.
