About the Robert K. Hickerson Partners in Justice Campaign:
The Robert K. Hickerson Partners in Justice Campaign is the annual campaign for Alaska Legal Services Corporation. Robert Hickerson was ALSC’s Executive Director from 1984 until June 2001 when he passed away after a courageous battle with a brain tumor. We commemorate Robert because he was, and still is, a stellar example of all we hope to be as advocates for our communities and as people. Following his death, Robert was honored by the Alaska Bar Association through the creation of the Robert Hickerson award, which recognizes outstanding dedication and service in the provision of legal services to low-income persons. Join us in honoring Robert’s contribution to a more just community by recommitting yourself to making a difference as a Partner in Justice.
