The ALSC Community Advocate Program is proud to partner with the Alaska Pacific University and Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium to provide trainings for those interested in assisting with legal topics that greatly affect low-income Alaskans. After completing one of the trainings, advocates can help Alaskans resolve their legal issues with the full support of ALSC. The courses are all online and done at your own pace. We ask that anyone taking them commit to assisting at least one ALSC client with that specific legal issue. The courses are free to those who make a commitment to assist others with their newly obtained legal training. If you are interested in getting involved, know someone who might be interested, or are looking for more information, please fill out the registration form below if you are interested in registering for a course! For more information about the program, please contact ALSC senior staff attorney Sarah Carver at scarver@alsc-law.org or (907) 406-2222.
