Alaska Legal Services Corporation (ALSC) is seeking a dedicated, energetic individual to serve as a staff attorney for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking on the Kenai Peninsula. This position is created as a result of a grant from the DOJ Office of Violence Against Women Legal Assistance to Victim program and is a partnership with the Kenaitze Indian Tribe. The attorney will coordinate closely with Kenaitze and the Na’ini Family and Social Services in the provision of holistic legal services to Alaska Legal Services Corporation is recruiting for a full-time (35 hours per week) staff attorney in the Kenai office to provide civil legal assistance to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking on the Kenai Peninsula. This position is created as a result of a grant from the DOJ Office of Violence Against Women Legal Assistance to Victim program and is a partnership with the Kenaitze Indian Tribe. The attorney will coordinate closely with Kenaitze and the Na’ini Family and Social Services in the provision of holistic legal services to survivors.
Required: Applicants must be admitted to practice law in Alaska or admitted to practice in another state and be eligible for an Alaska Bar Rule 43 waiver. Salary $64,785-$97,177 DOE. Generous benefits and leave package provided, including partial reimbursement of relocation expenses. Personal leave begins at six weeks per year for a full-time employee. ALSC observes 15 paid holidays.
