Alaska Legal Services Corporation has an opening for a full-time staff attorney in the Anchorage office to start as soon as can be arranged. Position involves intake and casework for low-income Alaskans facing critical civil legal issues that impact their health, safety and stability within the Municipality of Anchorage.
Applicants must be admitted to practice law in Alaska or admitted to practice in another state and eligible for an Alaska Bar Rule 43 waiver. Information on Bar Rule 43 can be found at http://www.alaskabar.org. Familiarity with cross-cultural situations is highly desired. Computer proficiency required (Windows operating system, Microsoft Office, Internet, e-mail and data entry).
Salary $64,080-$96,120 DOE. Generous benefits and leave package provided, including partial reimbursement of relocation expenses.
