Alaska Legal Services Corporation’s Nome office has an opening for a part-time (20 -hours per week) or full-time (35 hours per week) office manager. Hours dependent on applicant preference. Major duties include telephone and front desk reception, screening prospective clients, computer data entry, file maintenance, mail handling, and preparation of legal documents, reports and correspondence.
High school diploma or GED required. Computer proficiency (Windows operating system, Microsoft Office, Internet, e-mail and data entry) and ability to comply with strict policies regarding confidentiality is required.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in written and verbal communication, have a willingness to learn new skills, be highly organized, and enjoy a fast-paced environment. Cross-cultural experience is preferred and bilingual applicants are encouraged.
