Job Opportunity: Anchorage Staff Attorney

Alaska Legal Services Corporation has an opening for a full-time staff attorney in our Anchorage office to start as soon as can be arranged. Position involves intake and casework for low-income Alaskans facing legal issues related to their housing within the 2018 earthquake-impacted areas (Municipality of Anchorage, Mat-Su Borough, and Kenai Peninsula Borough).

Applicants must either be admitted to practice law in Alaska or admitted to practice in another state and eligible for an Alaska Bar Rule 43 Waiver. Information on Bar Rule 43 can be found at www.alaskabar.org. Familiarity with cross-cultural situations desirable. Computer proficiency required (Windows operating system, Microsoft Office, Internet and e-mail, and data entry).

Salary $48,744 to $69,288 per year, dependent on experience. Generous personal leave and benefits package, including partial reimbursement of relocation expenses, provided.
