Alaska Legal Services Corporation is seeking an attorney to support its Partnering for Native Health Medical-Legal Partnership Project (MLP) in Kodiak and to address the civil legal needs of low-income Alaskans residing on Kodiak. Responsibilities include carrying a caseload, handling the administrative functions for the MLP project and maintaining relationships with community partners.
Applicants must be admitted to practice law in Alaska or admitted to practice in another state and eligible for an Alaska Bar Rule 43 waiver. Information on Bar admission or requirements for a waiver can be found at www.alaskabar.org.
Salary $54,096- $75,000 per year DOE. Generous personal leave and benefits package, including partial reimbursement of relocation expenses, provided.
