Alaska Legal Services Corporation has an opening for a full-time Anchorage staff attorney to start as soon as can be arranged. Position involves intake and casework for low-income Alaskans facing critical civil legal issues that impact their health, safety and stability within the Municipality of Anchorage.
Applicants must be either admitted to practice law in Alaska or admitted to practice in another state and eligible for an Alaska Bar Rule 43 waiver. Information on Bar Rule 43 can be found here.
Familiarity with cross-cultural situations desirable. Computer proficiency required (Windows operating system, Microsoft Office, Internet and e-mail, and data entry).
